Dear <<First Name>>,
We hope you are doing well and enjoying these great summer days.
Today we would like to share some interesting information from our monthly Re/Max research department study which states that :
"The average home sold at least a week faster in May 2015 than in any of the past previous months.
So why the frantic "home grab" in several neighborhoods ? The economy continues to improve which means hopeful buyers are more confident
to commit to a home of their own. Also low interest rates are making mortgages much more affordable for people who have been renting, and those
who may be discovering that a mortgage payment is just as much as, if not less than, rental rates. The result is that buyers are being added to the
market faster than homes for sale.
What does it mean for home sellers ? A nice home in a growing market is a hot commodity, and your home could be just what local buyers are looking for.
To take the most advantage of demand in your area, you need to determine the appropriate asking price based on buyer activity in your area, and a price that will attract the most competitive offers. Transitioning to your next place may prove a little tricky as you become a buyer yourself. The best way is to keep in mind that selling your home when demand is up and buying your next place when interest rates are down could put you in a position where you are experiencing the best of both worlds.
What does this situation mean for buyers ? Buyers need to be ready to compete with other buyers, especially when looking for homes in a price range under $450,000. The average months supply of inventory in Denver is currently 2.5, which means if no new properties were added to the market, it would take about two and half months to sell all the homes currently for sale. That is really not much inventory"
Now more than ever we need to use all our strategies to help you to a successful closing whether you are a seller, a buyer or both. We are both ready to work with you or with your friends if you decide a move is in your future.
Please keep in mind that we are never too busy to help you, your family and friends even if you need just a question answered or a referral for a vendor.
We hope you continue to have a wonderful and safe summer.
Take Care,
Anne & Jessica Cucchi
