Women practicing in all legal disciplines are warmly invited to join us for a presentation and discussion about ‘Lean In’ mentoring programs for young female lawyers. Take the opportunity to meet up with two experienced senior associates and hear their views on the benefits of mentoring and gain invaluable insight into how to make the most of your mentor/mentee relationship.

Holly Lam is a Senior Associate at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers specialising in insolvency; restructuring; general commercial litigation; and banking litigation. Holly advises and appears in all Australian Courts for clients such as insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, businesses, business owners and directors in the conduct of administrations, liquidations and general litigation. Holly’s experience includes liquidator’s examinations; voidable transaction claims (including unfair preferences, uncommercial transactions and insolvent trading); winding up proceedings; misleading and deceptive conduct claims; defending against proceedings brought by the ACCC for cartel conduct; and advising in relation to PPSA claims. Holly has been a member of the executive committee of WLANSW since 2013 and is the Treasurer of the WLANSW for 2016. Holly is passionate about encouraging new lawyers to fully embrace and own their careers; retaining women in law; and creating a legal profession that is fulfilling, flexible and welcoming. |

Laura Forsyth, a Senior Associate at TressCox Lawyers, has expertise in various areas of property law including commercial leasing, property acquisition and disposal and pipelines. Laura’s experience in leasing includes acting for listed property trusts, private landlords and tenants in drafting or advising on industrial, commercial and retail leases for various sites ranging in size from small retail arcades to stand alone retail leases, multi-story commercial buildings and large industrial estates.
Laura established TressCox’s first ‘Lean In Circles’ in February 2016 and is passionate about encouraging junior lawyers to seek out opportunities that will help them flourish in their careers. |
