Elizabeth Broderick to Chair SAGE Expert Advisory Group

SAGE is thrilled to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Broderick AO to the role of Chair of the SAGE Expert Advisory Group.  Elizabeth is Australia’s longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner (2007-2015) and the founder of the globally recognised ‘Male Champions of Change’ strategy.

Elizabeth has brought together captains of industry, governments and Defence Force chiefs to address gender inequality in Australia. Through her role with the United Nations on advancing women's empowerment globally, and other advocacy, Elizabeth works tirelessly to break down structural and social barriers faced by women and men in the pursuit of gender equality.

The SAGE Expert Advisory Group arose out of changes to SAGE governance structure and will convene its inaugural meeting in August 2016.
