The Chapman Valley Historical Society (Museum) hosted a Heritage visit by the Geraldton Regional Library on Friday 15 July 2016. Guests were invited to record some of their early memories of the district and their stories.
Break-away interviews were conducted by Jim Trevaskis and Trudi Cornish to record short 10-15 minute interviews with community members which will be made available to the Museum. The focus was on Oral Histories and the importance of gathering district stories. Over 400 oral histories can be accessed for up to 3 weeks, from the Geraldton Library
Congratulations to everyone who has been involved in recording this valuable collection of history.
