COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION FUNDING
Are you a not-for-profit and incorporated organisation or a club? Do you have a new project idea that will help to encourage low participation groups (e.g. Aboriginal people, multicultural groups or people with disability) to get involved in sport and active recreation? This grant is open year round. Apply for Community Participation Funding, email the Department or call WeiQi Ng on 08 9492 9852.

DRUG AWARE YOUTH CULTURE
This fund focuses on skills development for young people and can include music workshops, script writing and production, skills development in graffiti art, writing and illustration, dance residencies, new media.  Up to $4000 is available to cover project costs such as artist fees, artist travel, materials, promotional costs, documentation or venue hire. Closes 23^rd December 2016, more info through Country Arts WA.
 
HOLDEN HOME GROUND ADVANTAGE
Holden are helping grassroots sport by giving local clubs the chance to upgrade their facilities with the Holden Home Ground Advantage project.  You can apply for a grant of up to $10,000 or $100,000 for your local sporting club and give Scott and Kim a run for their money by entering your own video clip to support your application.

 COMMONWEALTH BANK CRICKET CLUB SPONSORSHIP
Offers local cricket clubs the chance to apply for a Club Sponsorship, consisting of a two-year, $2,000 financial commitment per year, as well as cricket gear.
You’ll also get CommBank cricket merchandise, such as Commonwealth Bank marquees, to use on game days.

COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM
Beyond Bank Australia is rewarding entrepreneurs with grants of up to $50,000 and access to support networks in order to assist and realise their dreams that promote local economic development within the Canberra, Hunter Valley, Riverina, SA and WA regions. 
We are seeking businesses that support people and are looking to create good outcomes that benefit the local community by offering employment opportunities.

YATES JUNIOR LANDCARE GRANTS
Encourages young people to get creative in the garden. Any school (primary or secondary), kindergarten, childcare centre, and youth/community group (e.g. Scouts) seeking to educate young Australians about gardening and the natural environment can apply.
Eligible projects:
- Bush tucker and native gardens
- Vegetable gardens
- Sensory gardens
- Composting and green waste recycling activities
- Purchase of gardening infrastructure and equipment (pallets, garden beds, gloves, shovels, watering cans etc).

ANZ SEEDS OF RENEWAL PROGRAM
Supports education & employment initiatives that support economies in rural, regional & remote areas, with consideration given to projects that benefit communities with a population less than 15,000. Groups may apply for a cash grant or IT equipment.
Examples of projects include:

-      Providing certified training courses at local community centres
-      Supporting programs that help people to prepare for employment or return to   education
-      Supporting programs which help people to learn new skills and knowledge
-      Developing micro-business or social enterprises which help to create employment

WESTERN AUSTRALIAN HISTORY FOUNDATION GRANTS
Funds history projects based in Western Australian.
Any individual or organisation with a project which falls within the Foundation’s Objects (as stated below) is eligible to apply for a grant.

THANK A VOLUNTEER DAY GRANT
Grants of up to $1,000 are available for community organisations to host events or activities on Thank a Volunteer Day, Monday 5 December 2016. The grants support communities to celebrate Thank a Volunteer Day as a whole of community event to acknowledge and celebrate the role of volunteers in the community.
To ensure a balance of events/activities across the State, only one Thank a Volunteer Day Celebration Grant will be awarded per community (defined as a Local Government Authority area).  Consideration will be given to supporting more than one event in a Local Government Authority area in those regional areas where distances between communities are deemed large. 
Applications close at 4pm on Thursday, 18 August 2016. No late applications will be accepted.

ROYALTIES FOR REGIONS 

1. Retain and build the benefits of regional communities.
2. Support improved, relevant and accessible local services.
3. Enable communities to deliver a sustainable economic and social future.
4. Assist regional communities to prosper through increased employment, business and industry development opportunities.
5. Increase capacity for local strategic planning and decision-making

Regional Grants Scheme funds between $50,000 - $300,000 and Community Chest funds for up to $50,000


STATE NRM PROGRAM
Agriculture and Food Minister Dean Nalder announced funding through the Natural Resource Management (NRM) grants program is now available to groups including schools, not-for-profit organisations, local government and environmental action groups.
Community Action Grants - Local community groups can apply for grants of between $5,000 and $55,000.
Community Capability Grants For small projects between $1,000 and $10,000 which can be implemented over the next 12 months.
