It's hard to make sense of the garbled static and confused, panicked comm-bursts coming in from the Yggdrasil colonies. But somewhere in there hangs a cruel, unsual tale of the sort the Blogbot loves best. It sifts through the static, pieces together the disparate elements...and prepares to broadcast...

The Mechanisms present...The Bifrost Incident

Bifrost Kickstarter Now Live!

"The Ratatosk Express has finally arrived in Midgard, 80 years late. All that’s left is the ruin of the engine room and a couple of twisted skeletons, and the black box. It’s as much a history project as an actual crime scene, but combing through the data still comes down to me."

It's been a while, but The Mechanisms are back, and with our best story yet: "The Bifrost Incident". Uncover the mysteries of the Bifrost, as inspector Lyfrassir Edda combs through the recordings of its first and last journey. No-one knows what happened to the Asgardian delegation that set out on that inaugural trip 80 years ago, but we can be certain that something went very badly wrong...

The Kickstarter for our 4th album is now live! We're looking forward to sharing with you what we believe is our finest tale yet, and we hope you're in. All aboard the Viking Space Train!
Back the album!

Live Shows
Couldn't make the debut, but still fancy stowing away to see the new show live? We'll be performing at Nine Worlds on Friday, 12th August, followed by some more shows in Bristol and Oxford - watch this space for details!

In other news, the Aurora crew have been busy of late...
Jonny has recently been delving into some of the more... horrific tales coming from your tiny planet. With some like-minded brigands from Rusty Quill, he's been recording a horror fiction podcast - The Magnus Archives.
The Toy Soldier's sabbatical has not been spent idly. "Jessica Law" has disgorged the contents of its fevered mind into another pleasantly sinister solo album -
All the Sad Stories.
Not content with his regular delusions of aristocracy and/or medical expertise, Marius seems to be embarking on some kind of "solo career." Here's his first depressing folk single - Shrove Tuesday.
Ah, Stowaways. That's all we have for you this time. Keep watching the skies. Ragnarok is almost upon us...
