You Did It! You Helped the Children of Global Samaritans Get Transportation to School!

The Global Samaritans campaign to obtain a vehicle to transport the children of Global Samaritans Children's Home to high school grades 10-12 reached its goal and a brand new vehicle was delivered just last week! The children will now be able to attend a day school in nearby Livingstone and return home each evening to the loving and nurturing atmosphere of Global Samaritans Children's Home.

The Zambian school year begins in the middle of January and thus this successful campaign means that no more Global Samaritans children will have to go off to boarding school for grades 10-12. In addition, those who were until recently in boarding school have been able to return home to complete their high school education!

Thanks to the generosity of the many who gave to this campaign, the lives of these children is being improved beyond measure.

Support is needed for drilling wells in villages who desperately need clean water and sponsors are needed for the newest children at Global Samaritans Children's Home. College Graduates!

Global Samaritans Children's Home was proud to welcome home four new college graduates, all of whom will be soon embarking on promising careers. Gloria and Lot both received their degrees from Chainama College of Health Sciences in Lusaka. While in college, Gloria studied clinical medicine and Lot studied environmental health. Nonoka graduated from Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts in Lusaka and was awarded a degree in journalism while Sanford earned a degree in business studies from the Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering Studies.

The need for wells in southern Zambia is ever increasing. Global Samaritans is working hard to meet the water needs of many villages but we need your help! Please consider donating today to provide a reliable source of clean drinking water for the people of Zambia.
Each well costs $7,000. You could pool funds with other individuals or groups. You might want to take up an offering at your church. One group hosted a charity concert to pay for a well and plans to host another one soon.
