NCACC begins 2017-18 Legislative Goals process

We invite all counties to submit their proposals via the online form by September 23rd. The NCACC goals setting process is open, inclusive and deliberative and is designed to give all 100 counties a voice in developing the Association’s legislative agenda.

Managing Your Risk

It's that time of year again - Hurricane season!


Hurricane Season began June 1 and ends Nov. 30. Most emergency county staff have already dusted off their emergency management manual and given some thought to protocols and procedures to be employed in the event of a hurricane.

Federal Advocacy

August recess a chance for home cookin'


Congress annually breaks from all legislative activity during the month of August to allow for time in home states in order to connect with constituents and potential voters. Members typically hold Town Hall meetings or participate in local civic events, particularly during election years.
