New course starting on 26th September
The IBEI Master’s Programmes for the class of 2016 will commence on 26th September with the Welcome Day. Before the term begins, the IBEI will be offering several presessional courses for the new students, to provide them with required background.

IBEI will remain closed from 01 to 28 August.

AXA Research Fund Postodoctoral Fellowship
Post doctoral research fellow Lesley Ann Daniels as been awarded AXA Research Fund Postodoctoral Fellowship, in order to fund her project entitled "Rights and Conflict Stability". The project will begin on February 1, 2017. Each year, the AXA Research Fund offers twenty-five Post-Doctoral Fellowships to outstanding researchers, in order to boost scientific progress. This is the second AXA Postdoctoral Fellowship obtained by IBEI researchers.

New Visiting Research Fellows
IBEI will receive this summer several visiting researchers who will be at the Institute for a short stay:
Christos Kourtelis, Lecturer of International Relations at Maastricht University, he will stay from 19 to 22 July 2016
Huseyin Sen, Prof, Chair of Public Finance Department at Yildirim Beyazit University (Ankara) he will stay during September and October 2016
Jianwei Wang, Professor in the Department of Government and Public Administration at the University of Macau, he will stay at IBEI during July and August 2016
Matthew Wood, Lecturer in Politics at the University of Sheffield, he will stay at IBEI during September 2016.
