Hi - I would like to introduce myself - I am Marianne Westhoff.

I am a retired Special Olympics GB Athlete (Swimming).I am 28 years old and would like to be the next "Gabby Logan" from the BBC as a Reporter.

I recently joined the Athlete Leadership Team at Special Olympics GB working with Diane Whilding & Neil Adams.

ATHLETE LEADERSHIP IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS GB

Athlete Leadership is about Athletes fulfilling their potential.

It is about how we as the Athlete Leadership team can support you to reach your goals both on and off the field of play.

There is a commitment from Special Olympics GB to help athletes develop and progress.

It is the role of the Athlete Leadership team to work with you and to help make this happen.

In April 2016 we held our first Athlete Leadership Conference in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
