The first Semester of 2016 has been very fruitful for Urbasofia, both in terms of design and development, as well as finalisation of different projects. In the following paragraphs we list the most important achievements.
Centre of Excellence in Territorial Management and Cadastre (http://centric.center/index.html) has successfully passed the first phase of activity.
Young Placemakers Initative (http://yplan.ro/) students have created detailed analyses of the urban context and design proposals for eight public spaces in Bucharest. Collabrative implementation will follow this autumn!
ESPRESSO (systEmic standardisation apPRoach to Empower Smart citieS and cOmmunities, www.espresso-project.eu). Urbasofia experts work in collaboration with ISOCARP on this very ambitious project. We organized two workshops so far, in Bucharest and Rotterdam, on the topic of Smart Cities.
