Calm Clarity Spring 2016 Newsletter

Dear friends,

I hope you are all having a wonderful spring season. I'm pleased to share that Calm Clarity has continued to make steady progress. People from around the country are travelling to Philadelphia to attend our Weekend Retreats and major corporations are asking me to run the Calm Clarity Mindful Leadership Program for their executives. I have also started working on a book to share the key concepts of the Calm Clarity Program.

As a social enterprise, Calm Clarity is committed to making sure that low-income students have access to our training. Given our limited resources as a startup, that means pioneering creative pay-it-forward models to make our social justice programs sustainable. I have included further details on these initiatives below.

College Student Scholar Program

In my last update, I announced the launch of our College Student Scholar Program to give low-income first generation college students the opportunity to attend our Weekend Retreats at no cost. College students can now apply for scholarships directly through our website.

These scholarships are made possible by ticket purchases and donations. When people buy tickets to our retreats, they are also enabling our college scholars to join alongside them. In addition, we are also very grateful to generous donors for sponsoring students.

To learn more or nominate a first-generation college student for this program, please refer to our website here:

Sponsored Workshop Program

As we build up our corporate client base, I am starting a sponsored workshop program for educational institutions and nonprofit organizations serving low-income students to experience the benefits of Calm Clarity either free of charge or at steeply discounted prices.

Calm Clarity is now able to provide a limited number of sponsored workshops to organizations in the Philadelphia area.

“Engaging. Inspiring. These are just two words to describe Due Quach’s Mindful Leadership Program. M&T Bank invited Due to present to a diverse group of approximately 50 employees; ranging from executives to support staff to salespeople. What resonated with each individual was Due’s compelling, personal story, which served to build not only credibility, but also an openness amongst the group. From there, Due taught us the tools that can be used to unlock the brain and build resilience. A number of attendees even declared to have a reduction in stress immediately following the program!”

Invest in yourself at a Calm Clarity Weekend Retreat!

We offer our Mindful Leadership Program to individuals and families through our Weekend Retreats, which are non-residential courses that run from 10am to 4:30pm.

There is an upcoming 1-day program on May 15 and a two-day program on June 25-26. I will be using the summer to focus on writing the book and plan to run at least one more Weekend Retreat in the fall.
