Thank you for your support

Sydenham Arts, Festival of Music, April 2016

Dear Festival Goer

I hope that you enjoyed our first Festival of Music and that you found the whole experience worthwhile.  From Jazz and Folk to Classical and Gospel we tried to provide something for everyone in the community and to make Sydenham a livelier and more satisfying place to be.

Your support was greatly appreciated.  Through your purchase of tickets you made the Festival a success and helped to bring music to a wide range of audiences, many of which will have been inspired by their contact with live performance.

As a charity we are attempting to bring the Arts to the local community on a year round basis and by becoming a Friend of Sydenham Arts you can really help us to be successful.  Our Friends make our achievements possible and they help us to develop what we offer in the Arts.  Please consider becoming a Friend now. You can join by clicking the link below and following the simple steps set out.

Sydenham Arts will be producing a High Street Happenings in Sydenham Road on market days (featuring Brockley Ukelele Group this Saturday May 14th) and we will be holding a concert Sing Out @ Five on Saturday 21 May at Holy Trinity Church Centre, Penge to celebrate five successful years of Sing Out choirs in Lewisham.  The choirs will perform together and separately with contributions by the amazing recorder quartet Palisander.  There will be a raffle and refreshments, and the doors open at 6.30pm.

Sydenham Arts Summer Festival with music, comedy, poetry, film, theatre and the visual arts will take place from 1-10 July 2016.  I will look forward to seeing you there.

With my repeated thanks and best wishes,

David Smurthwaite
