Derby season is officially kicking off with this party and you're invited to take part in the festivities! Join for food, drinks, and few sculpture previews. 

Wednesday, 5/11  Lullaby Music Session  6:15 – 7 PM
@ Minnow Lane, 2029 Frankford Ave.
Come enjoy a acoustic wind down session every 2nd Wednesday of the month.  A different musician joins each week. For ages 3 mo - 3 yrs. More info here.  The "Final Days of Pregnancy & Newborn Care" workshop Parts 1 and 2 will be on Monday, 5/16 and 5/23, 6 - 8 PM.

Thursday, 5/12  Birth Movie Screening  6 - 9 PM
@ City Sprouts, 2124 E. Dakota St.
Join the good folk at City Sprouts for a screening of "Heads Up: The Art of Vaginal Breech Birth". All are welcome. The film discusses how women lost the option of birthing breech babies vaginally in a hospital setting and why it's important for women to have that choice back; the film will be followed by a general discussion.

Traditional West African Drum & Dance Classes! 
 

Join us for all new classes hosted at Franny Lou's on Mondays! From 6-7pm we host a West African drum class with Jay Beck, and from 7-8pm we host a West African dance class with Blew Kind! $10 per class. Some drums provided, but bring your own if you have one... beginners welcome, no experience necessary. Drummers from the first class stay and drum for the dance class.
