The nights are getting cooler but there is still plenty of sunshine on the Gold Coast. Enjoying this kind of weather is all part of living on the Gold Coast. After looking at the current property forecast, I have seen that the Gold Coast is set to experience not only continued growth, but also a shift in outlook. Many estimates claim the city will continue to increase its growth rate. Key growth regions will be along the proposed light rail tracks and Gold Coast to Brisbane rail corridor, which is already attracting buyers, and developments in the northern part of the city. And on top of all of this, the Gold Coast still remains a number one tourist destination.

$68.5 Billion In Infrastructure Projects Is Why The Coomera – Pimpama Area Is Booming

Pimpama – Coomera located at the northern end of the Gold Coast is experiencing prolific growth with over 68.5 Billion in major infrastructure projects driving the region ahead.

Pimpama–Coomera’s population is projected to increase by 700% inside the next 20 years according to the 2011 HIA-JELD-WEN National Top 20 Building and Population Hotspots report.
The Report, commissioned by the Housing Industry of Australia, placed Pimpama – Coomera third in the entire country with an annual population growth rate of 14.4%.

Being centrally located 30 minutes either way between Brisbane and Surfers Paradise, commuters have the flexibility of choice without the penalty of protracted travel, but it’s the boom in development and infrastructure that has the Northern Gold Coast booming.

The estimated expenditure for major infrastructure projects both projected and underway on the Gold Coast Region including Development Projects both projected and underway in 2012, totalled $68.5 billion and includes:
