Flint Coalition

A HOUSE UNDIVIDED?

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for an incredibly important cause: U-M Flint and U-M A2 are teaming up with Michigan State and the local community to address the Flint water crisis. (Google’s in on the action, too. Aaaaaand, so is Obama.)

Young Meryl Streep The Mother Load Graduation Caps

JUST CALL ME MERYL

I know it’s hard to imagine, but Meryl Streep was in her 20s once, too, and word on the street is that she may have experienced a quarter life crisis just like the rest of us.

STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM NOW WE’RE…

Still here :/ The U.S. continues to be one of the only countries in the world to not mandate paid maternity leave, to which LSA faculty member Susan Douglas says, “smh.”

Don’t forget to put work in its place, guys. Also, sometimes you need a little confidence-booster to get through the week, and that’s okay.

About the Dean's Young Alumni Council

The Dean’s Young Alumni Council (DYAC) is a highly engaged group of recent graduates whose mission is to encourage their peers to articulate the impact of their LSA education and to create a culture of giving back as alumni. Check out our website for more information and fill out our interest form to get involved!

Let’s chat:
Christina Pechette is a DYAC staff member and 2013 LSA graduate who feels very validated about the book she’s reading rn. Have information or events you’d like included in this newsletter? Any questions or feedback? Just hit “reply” to talk to me.
