But staff at Buster’s burger bar are stuck with another working day dreaming of a better life and auditioning for TV’s New Faces, all to a soundtrack of 70’s soul classics. Read more

FANATICAL

Music & Lyrics by Matt Board | Book by Reina Hardy | Directed by Lotte Wakeham
Angel 8 is a cult science fiction TV show. It’s also a lifestyle. To the fans gathered at the first ever Angel 8 convention, it’s everything. But when the unthinkable happens during the keynote address, this group of lovable misfits must band together to prove that no power in the universe can keep a story from its fans. JULIUS CAESAR
By William Shakespeare | Directed by Polina Kalinina

Caesar must die. As the conspirators plot we must decide whether this assassination is justified. Is it sacrifice or butchery? Shakespeare’s most morally ambivalent play presents a dangerous game of chess played out with people’s lives. At the end of the day it’s not about right, it’s not about wrong. It’s about power. Read more

PECKHAM PLANS REVEALED

We are very pleased to present architectural plans for our new home in Southwark.

Carl Turner Architects have designed a building which includes a public foyer with café bar, 200-seat main auditorium, 80-seat studio theatre and rooftop restaurant/bar. Training facilities include 19 rehearsal studios, two further performance studios, music practice rooms, two TV studios and a radio suite.

Proposed building materials include a golden-brown oxidized steel wrap, brick and wood, reflecting the heritage of the site which was once a canal-side wood warehouse.

Plans are now available online and we are welcoming comments and feedback in advance of our planning application submission in late June. If this application is successful we will start building work in November 2016 and open in September 2018.
