We did it!

We're pleased to announce that our first class of students was commissioned on April 23, 2016 at Southminster Presbyterian Church! Each of these students completed over 300 hours of instruction and monthly coaching. Their churches continue to receive on-site support from Youth Ministry Institute Midwest through 2016. Our faithful and gifted board also hosted a fundraising event on April 22, 2016, to conclude our Spring fundraising drive. The results are in, and the news is good.

We raised $25,000 toward our $35,000 annual goal!

Fundraising is a vital part of our nonprofit ministry. We provided support to 30 youth ministers in local churches over the last year, which reached over 500 youth in these grace-filled communities of Christ's love. Thank you – your gift makes a significant difference! Letters to our community of support are being sent this month.

We are receiving many wonderful compliments from youth ministers and clergy for the work Youth Ministry Institute Midwest does with youth ministers in helping them become more effective in their roles. This work is truly satisfying and is producing results when youth ministers complete our two year program.

Our students and partner churches would say the investment is worth it, so we'd like to share this great opportunity. In 2016, we are offering up to six months of free coaching to anyone who signs up for the two-year coaching and training program over the summer. Contact Matt Vaughan for more information.
