Seeking Panther Post Editors and Webmaster for Next Year

Join the Communications team as one of the Panther Post editors or the Webmaster for next year.

To help with publishing this newsletter, all you need is basic computer familiarity and an enthusiasm for sharing information a few hours every few weeks.

If you are interested in the Webmaster role, consider these guidelines:

  • Ensure an integrated web site structure and consistent look-n-feel.
  • Respond to any requests related to updates of the site, such as  custom forms, page setup, user rights, event and news update and approval etc., and follow up with proper actions.
  • Provide technical support on using the web site.
  • Familiarity with HTML or a desire to learn is important.

These are both a great way to volunteer behind the scenes with a rotating turn at publishing the newsletter every few weeks.  Email communications@spiritridge.org if you would like to participate or want to learn more.

5th Grade Party & Moving Up Ceremony

Party: 2 hours at Lucky Strikes during the school day for bowling and games

Moving up Ceremony: 6:30PM in the Spiritridge MPR

OUR NEEDS

  • Baby Pictures: Please send ONE baby picture of your child to be used in the slide show.  There is no specific age required, just pick one you love! E-mail with your child’s name and teacher name to:  5thgradeceremony@spiritridge.org
  • T-shirts: This is a heads up that we will be collecting plain, white t-shirts towards the end of the year to tie-dye.  You do not need to send one in at this time, but keep an eye out for future correspondence.
  • Volunteer:  As we get closer we will create a sign-up genius for volunteers to donate refreshments  and assist with tie-dying.   Official chaperoning of the daytime event will be decided on a class-by-class basis, as we will want an equal number of chaperones per class.  Sign-up for chaperoning will be via the permission slip in June.
Questions?  Please contact Emily Taibl + Betsy Vo at 5thgradeceremony@spiritridge.org
