Painting the River Thames with John Myers

Every Saturday 28 May – 2 July 10.30am to 1.30pm

This drawing and painting class with take in the ever changing scenery and activity along the Thames and the London City backdrop. Spending 2-3 sessions in a particular location we will visit two/ three outstanding views of the river.

Painting the Dawn on Hampstead Heath with David Caldwell

4 Saturdays 18 June - 16 July from 6am to 9am with Tea, Coffee and Croissants at 7.30am 

Following in the footsteps of John Constable. We will take the green expanse of Hampstead Heath as our subject as we attempt to capture the effects of the soft morning light. We use examples by Monet, Corot, Constable and Turner as we explore the genre of Landscape painting and in particular that of the plein air oil sketch.

Painting the sea with Lesley Burr
11- 12 June 2016 

Join national award winner artist Lesley Burr for a weekend of painting and drawing the natural beauty of land and seascapes in picturesque Camber Sands. One day along the sea and one day in studio bring our ideas, sketches to life.  Camber Sands lends itself to panoramic views of the sea, perfect for painting deep and contrasting colour
