We are thankful that we as a church can participate in God's work around the world, bringing hope and relief. We have recently used our Missions Contingency Fund to support the following: Ecuador Earthquake Relief, Gambela Massacre Relief, Nepal Earthquake Relief, Microfinance grants for Congolese women, and we have purchased a sewing machine for an African woman to begin her own business and rise out of poverty. These funds are distributed through Covenant World Relief and Covenant Cares. Our contingency funds were raised through the fall soup/pie supper, salsa/jam sales and individual contributions. Your support is applauded as we reach around the world through this specialized missions fund. Please continue your giving. Talk to Roger Quam or Peggy Holte if you have any questions.
