Compline Choir 60th Anniversary

August 12-14, 2016

This year marks our 60th anniversary and we now invite you to register your participation in a special weekend of events celebrating this milestone. If you have not already done so, please book your travel and arrange a home-stay or other accommodation for this festival weekend. If you have questions about the celebration, need suggestions for accommodations, or have special requests, please contact us.

Basic Registration - $40

The Basic Registration fee for our celebration is $40. The fee includes music packet and Compline Choir 60th Anniversary branded polo shirt, and helps underwrite a portion of required event insurance. When you register, you will be able to select the various events in which you wish to participate, however, all participants must pay the Basic Registration fee.

Friday, Aug. 12
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Cocktail Reception at the deanery, a short walk from Saint Mark's. Optional: Enjoy appetizers and two (2) cocktails for $15; additional beverages will be available for purchase. Recommended dress: business casual or better

Saturday, Aug. 13
9:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Choir Rehearsal at Saint Mark's
**Required for those singing at Sunday morning and/or Sunday Compline services.

1:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Afternoon Excursions Optional: Attractions include the Museum of Flight, Museum of History and Industry, Experience Music Project, or Chihuly Garden and Space Needle; cost ranges from $17.50 to $35.50, depending on selection.

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Festival Banquet in Bloedel Hall at Saint Mark's. Strongly recommended! Enjoy a fully catered multi-course dinner, champagne and other assorted beverages, and get an update on the Compline Choir's strategic plan, as well as happenings at Saint Mark's Cathedral; cost is $40, vegetarian option available. Recommended dress: Sunday best or better, tuxedos encouraged!

Sunday, Aug. 14

8:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Morning services at Saint Mark's. Warm up is at 8:30 AM, services are at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Please register your participation.

1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Picnic and Garden Party at Chez Hallock in Fall City. Carpools will depart from the cathedral beginning at 12:30 PM; picnic lunch provided. There is no charge for this event, but you do need to register your participation.

7:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Alumni + Compline rehearsal and service at Saint Mark's. Please register your participation.
