AALC Plant Sale Order Form
Dear AALC Families,

What an exciting week we have had of learning and growing inside and outside the walls of our classroom!  Here are a few highlights:

Our community meeting on Friday took us outside and around the research park!  Primary and Middle School students worked to clean up the research park while Early Primary students focused on our school grounds.

Intermediate students traveled to Greenfield Village on Friday.  One student who visited for the first time said, "It was cool!  I got to touch a baby lamb.  It was tiny.  And then I fed some cows.  I learned how to make pots and glass."

On Saturday we had 4 Intermediate students compete at the Michigan History Day State Finals.  The theme this year is Exploration, Encounter, and Exchange.  Lucy and Olivia focused their project on the Mayan temple El Castillo at Chichen Itza, while Pat and Patrick looked at the travels of Marco Polo.  Congratulations to all of them!
This week our Primary students will travel to the Jiffy factory in Chelsea as part of their economics unit.  All students will participate in A.C.E.S. (All Children Exercising Simultaneously) on Wednesday, and we will start our final enrichment session of the year on Friday.

Thank you for the ways that you partner with us to help provide these meaningful experiences for our students!

With gratitude and much appreciation,

Cynthia & Abby
