On April 26 afternoon, we welcomed around 30 renowned venture capitalist and angel investors at our Santa Clara office, where 8 highly innovative teams presented products and ideas that brought everyone a mind-blowing VR/AR experience.
Selected from around 200 startups that the SVC team had connected with the past one month, the majority of the 8 teams featured virtual reality, augmented reality, or even both. Others brought about fascinating ideas in the field of TMT and HCI. After the pitches, investors were engaged in a heated round-table discussion, where they shared opinions and decided how they would like to work together to proceed. As the event was closing, we could even hear some of them shout from the inside “deal”!

The SVC Venture Club Monthly Private Pitch is a members-only event that takes place once a month. Before the event, we spend a month connecting with startups and collecting their pitch decks/business plans, screening about 200 projects and finalizing a group of startup teams to pitch at the event, according to a specific theme in which our attending investors are most interested.
