Welcome to the May Business Bulletin

In this edition, we have news for businesses looking to take advantage of the North Asia Free Trade Agreements, news about changes for small business in the budget and information about our upcoming business workshops.

This month we also profile two local businesses- Bubba West and Hoop Sparx. Both businesses were nominated for the Civic Business Awards and were also a part of our Women in Business Networking Breakfast Panel held in April.

Register your interest in goods you are buying, selling, hiring or renting

If your business sells goods on retention of title, hires, rents or leases goods or buys or sells second hand goods or assets then wording in a contract or invoice to state that title remains with a seller's business until goods are paid for in full no longer protects the seller. Use the Personal Property Security Register (PPSR) to register your interest in goods you have not yet been paid for.
