DRAWING A BETTER WORLD

THE ZIKA VIRUS

Earlier this year SAWBO put out a call for global experts to help us create an animation about the Zika virus. Dr. Pam Yoder answered that call and began working with us right away to construct the script and visuals.

Soon after, the World Health Organization (WHO) contacted SAWBO about our animations. They quickly joined our efforts to create this animation. We are very thankful to have the WHO and Dr. Yoder involved in this project.

This animation shows how to avoid the Zika virus by practicing good mosquito control. In it, we detail the steps that you and your community should take to prevent Aedes mosquitoes from spreading the Zika virus.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR TRANSLATION VOLUNTEERS

We are currently translating this animation into Spanish and Portuguese. We are still looking for more volunteers to translate this very important animation. If you or someone you know would like to translate this animation, please contact us at contact@sawbo-animations.org.
