EU Farmers and SMEs benefit from plant-related intellectual property rights 


The EU must safeguard intellectual property protection (IP), including plant variety protection rights (PVPs) and patents, to help catalyse sustainable and innovative development in the EU. A new factsheet developed by EuropaBio shows how IP helps drive innovation, benefitting society, including farmers and SMEs, whilst reducing waste, energy consumption and pollution in agriculture.
