Family Picnic and Awards
Join us!
The annual BRRC Family Picnic and Awards Presentation will take place on June 26th at 1:00 pm - so mark your calendars! Former Vice President Brian Flowers has once again graciously invited the Road Runners to use his home, pool and club house for this year's event. The picnic will be catered by Don's Backyard Barbecue and is free to members and their families.
Of course, our annual Performance Awards and Scholarships will be presented during the picnic, but there will be plenty of swimming and socializing as well! Please join us in another great event where we celebrate our terrific club and honor some of our top performers.
We ask that guests bring an appetizer, salad or dessert. Also, make sure to fill out our RSVP form to let us know how many will be attending and what you will be bringing. We look forward to seeing you at the picnic!

GUNPOWDER TRAIL RACE
This Sunday, the BRRC Billy Goat Trail Series continues with the Gunpowder Trail Race. The course mostly winds up and down through beautiful single track for just over 5 miles. We will start and finish at the tunnel by the parking lot and blatantly ignore running along the stretch by the river. We'll get some of the hills out of the way early too. Join us! Registration at the venue beginning at 8:15 am - $2 for members, $6 for non-members. Questions/volunteer? Email Race Director, Erin Dembeck.
JUNE HEATS UP
There are plenty of different BRRC races to keep your legs chugging as we fly into summer. The Grand Prix Series continues with the running of the GPS 5K on the 19th. The course is flat and fast, out-and-back on the NCR Trail from Papermill. Then a quick turnaround to the first of our three Summer track meets at Goucher College on the 23rd. If you didn't get enough track-hack, you can join us for the Meet of Miles - a track meet where the only event is, you guessed it, the MILE. Runners will run in their respective heat based on their age category.
Information on all of our summer events will be posted to our website soon, so stay tuned to brrc.com for updates.
