Greetings Camp Otterdale friends!
We’re kicking it into Summer gear at camp with the arrival of some of the Leadership team.  Lots of projects are on the “to do” list…….new flooring in the Dining Hall,  a refresh of the Kitchen and Kogilo is getting a BIG facelift! The maple syrup season was one of the best we have ever experienced……over 400 litres!  Here’s some math……if it takes 40 litres of sap to make 1 litre of syrup, how much sap did we collect and boil?  Answer?  A LOT!

Open House and Info Day



You are enthusiastically invited to Camp Otterdale’s annual Open House and Information Day.  It’s happening on Sunday May 22 between 1-5pm.  Come tour the camp, meet the very cool Staff, meet other families, dip your feet into Otter Lake.  Join the fun as we gather at 3:00 pm in front of the Dining Hall for an Otterdale Happening!  Music, food and a whole lot of laughs along with a chance to ask questions and get information about our summer sessions!  
We will have our Otterdale clothing and maple syrup on sale too!  Bring a friend and/or family member!  The more the merrier!!

Refer a Family!
As we all know, kids at summer camp thrive!  We want to encourage others to consider the benefits of sending their children and we would love your assistance! Word of mouth has always been the most effective way new families learn about Camp Otterdale.  Our Referral program helps promote this to happen!  
Here is how it  works:
When a referral results in a new camper attending camp, both families will receive a $75.00 rebate/camper. Rebates will be credited at the end of the summer after camp. Or, you can choose to contribute your rebate to our “Send a Kid to Camp” program. If you are interested in referring a family, please follow this link 

Our new Website!!  
We are very excited to be reaching the final phase toward the launch of our new Website!  Yeehaw!  Easy access to camper registration, plenty of information on camper sessions and activities for the upcoming summer!  You will find news of events, and photos for families, campers and staff.  We are excited with the results and will be adding more as we go along!  Our plan is to go live before the upcoming weekend. 

As the sun continues to grow stronger, as we plant the crops and sunflowers at the farm, as we work towards getting ready for the Open House just around the corner,  we are counting the sleeps to the first day of July A, our excitement mounts for another fabulous summer!  Hope you are too!  Bring it on!
