Keep an eye out for some new products in the upcoming weeks. Think summer BBQ, think hamburger buns!
The new bakery building, while experiencing a slow start, should show quite a bit of progress beginning next week.  Once completed, we will have the equipment and space to increase our production of croissants, breads, etc.

Carol's Collectibles will not be at market this week!

Also at market this week: Cooking demonstrations, how to use your SNAP and WIC benefits at market, children's activities, and a raffle to benefit the Maine Farmland Trust.

Appleton Creamery: Cheese overstock! Our favorite cheese is on sale this week: Aged chèvre.

Highland Organics: Finally, we were able to get the perfect day last week to burn our blueberry field and it was beautiful! The field that will be producing this year has been weeded, yes, weeded just like you weed any garden. Soon it will be in full bloom and before you know it, the blues will be ready for harvest. Our blueberry fields have been Certified Organic since 2002 too.
We do have last year's frozen blueberries available at market in 1#, 3# bags & 5# boxes.  We also make a whole plant blueberry tea from the fruit and leaves of the wild Maine blueberry plant. We harvest our chaga from land that we have permission from which allows it to be certified as Organic too. Come check out our flavors! We have 17 flavors to pick from. We craft our own flavors, using only organic fruits, herbs and spices and we hand fill our tea bags which are designed to be multi-steeped, steep at least 3-5 times or 1 tea bag and a quart of water for a cold tea. We love what we do, and to think that this all started by picking a few blueberries......

ME Water Buffalo Co.will be bringing ground meat for your burgers & sausage for your grill! This week we'll have Chocolate Gelato & Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato. Stop in to see what other goodies we have this week!
