What FPDS Means to Me

FPDS means a lot to me because the teachers get here early and stay really late to help us. I have had a lot of really good teachers, they were all nice. I like how we talk about God everyday in devotion. The teachers encourage us to ask Jesus into our hearts while we are here. -Eli Berch

FPDS is where I grew up. It is where I first learned about God. I love the teachers I have had throughout the years because they are funny and make school fun. I’ve made many friends, and I am sad to leave FPDS because it is like a second home to me. -Marilee Cleveland

I have been here from kindergarten through sixth grade. This is probably the most Christian of all the schools in the world. The teachers are very great and smart. I think they prepare us for challenges in life. I will miss FPDS and the teachers. You can make many friends here. -Jack Harvey

FPDS means a lot to me. I’ve been here since kindergarten, and I am very sad to leave. The teachers are nice, and they do their best to teach you everything. They read us devotions and let you have fun. You are free to talk about God unlike many places. I became a Christian through this school. -Harry McHenry

FPDS means everything to me. It is a good Christian school, and I have learned many important lessons. I came here in kindergarten and have been here ever since. I have loved every teacher I have had, and they have been very nice to me. FPDS has helped me move closer to God, and I appreciate it greatly. It will be hard to leave FPDS. I’ve found some of my closest friends over the past seven years. We get to talk about Christ whenever we want to. I asked Jesus into my heart here. I will always remember the great education. I will never forget this school!

Growing in Grace This Summer

Over the past few years I have noticed that my spiritual life can easily lose steam during the summer. I have wonderful intentions of using the summer to spend more time in the Word, read Christian books I have been waiting to read, and discipline myself more in prayer. What tends to happen, though, is that I become more distracted with fun summer activities and end up pushing my Bible aside. <read full post>
