A group of ELHS students, including our very own Katelyn Schwartz, made a special trip from Evergreen Tuesday to read books to our preschool-4th graders. Afterwards, they joined the kids on the playground for recess. Our students loved it!
2016 Softball Tournament
The 2016 Softball Round-Robin is tomorrow. Please be at Christ the King by 6:50 AM. The tournament starts at 10:00 AM. We need to leave promptly at 7:00 AM to make it on time. We should get back to Christ the King between 5:00-6:00 PM.

Mr. Hintz created a new group on Remind, our free text reminder service. The group is called CtK 5th-8th Classroom. He’ll use this group to notify you of how the tournament is going, what time we’ll be leaving, and the estimated time we’ll get back to CtK. Please sign up sending the text @e4he4 to 81010. Even if your child is not attending the tournament, please sign up for the group.
This tournament is on a school day. If you choose to not have your child attend, they will attend school. I will have a substitute for the students that will not be attending the tournament.

Yesterday our K-8 students took a bus ride to Bethany to listen to a concert by the ELHS band. Star Wars and Mission Impossible were among the favorites songs played.

Mrs. Schwartz's students are working hard on their Recycle-bots! The paper mache step is almost complete and then they will move on to painting and decorating. Can't wait to see the finished products!!
