Detroit 2B Ian Kinsler hit two singles, walked, and scored two runs in a 7-5 loss to Baltimore. 

Milwaukee RF Ryan Braun singled to extend his hitting streak to 12 games but twice failed to advance runners in scoring position as San Diego prevailed 3-0. Braun also was caught trying to steal second base.

Joc Pederson was hitless in a 5-0 win over the Mets.

The Cubs, Blue Jays, and Athletics were idle, and so therefore were Ryan KalishKevin Pillar and Danny Valencia. Houston reliever Scott Feldman also did not play.

Oakland's Sam Fuld is out for the year with a rotator cuff injury. Cincinnati P Jon Moscot is on the disabled list with inflammation in his left shoulder.

Miami reliever Craig Breslow was designated for assignment on May 11.
