Reminder Spring Clean-up in the Park - Saturday May 14 at 2PM. Please pitch in, many hands make for light work and the weather report is calling for sun!

Please also join us May 30 for a Neighbourhood Crime Prevention Evening

Safety is everyone's business. Join the RCMP and Strathcona County Family and Community Services for a Neighbourhood Crime Prevention session on Monday, May 30, 7 - 8:30 pm in the Community Centre. Learn about neighbourhood safety from a community building approach, local crime stats, crime prevention tips for vehicles and  property, and tips from crime prevention organizations. To register, call Family and Community Services at 780.464.4044.

A fire ban has been declared for all of Strathcona County. The ban applies to all rural areas, hamlets and Sherwood Park. No outdoor fires are permitted until further notice, including burning barrels and fireworks, nor are recreational fire pits or charcoal barbecues allowed. The use of propane appliances, such as barbeques, is permitted.

Hope to see you at the Pitch-in event at the park tomorrow!
