Dear <<First Name>>,

We are proud to announce that our team, Engineers & More, just won the Las Vegas Corporate Challenge for the second year in a row. What is more notable is that our team was compromised of multiple small local companies, and we worked together as a team to triumph. As Woody Allen said, “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” Members of Innova supported the team at many different events including chess, track & field, swimming, bicycling, kickball, football, etc. Even if we were not competing, we attended to cheer for our team members.

This past weekend I was listening to the TED Radio Hour on NPR, where the discussion revolved around Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs. In one segment, Sebastian Junger, director of “Restrepo,” talks about his experiences filming the un-narrated documentary. It is about the Second Platoon, Battle Company, 173rd Airborne Brigade in Afghanistan, where months of alternating waiting and fighting take their toll on the soldiers. The segment speaks about the third order of Maslow’s pyramid of needs, Love and Belonging. This includes not only the love of our spouse, family and friends, but the bonds of a community or tribe. A group of people that are inter-reliant on each other; like a platoon in battle. Mr. Junger goes on to explain that soldiers don’t necessarily miss combat when they return home, they miss brotherhood and being able to rely on someone.

Brotherhood can be defined as a mutual agreement of the group to put each other before yourself. At Innova, we strive to form a strong bond with our team, our clients, and our community, strengthening the sense of belonging and can do attitude. Our common goal is to care for our customer’s needs and develop fruitful and long lasting relationships. That is where the most meaningful experiences are to be found, making a difference.

Thanks for your business and the opportunity to be of service.

Best regards,

Carlos Banchik,
President

Project Highlight:
Spring Valley Hospital
Temporary Modular

Spring Valley Hospital was running over capacity and quickly needed more space to better serve the community. This temporary modular was constructed in less than 60 days. In general, the structure is a 2-level, quick assembled system. Although it was short term, it still needed to be permitted as a permanent structure by Clark County provisions. Innova assisted the manufacturer in getting approval through the county for the non-typical structure.

Las Vegas Corporate Challenge

Corporate Challenge is the largest amateur sporting event in Nevada with approximately 41 diverse sporting events. Once again, Innova Technologies has combined with other companies to form the team Engineers & More.

Through hard work and determination, we were able to win 1st place and take home the trophy for the second year in a row! Great job team!
