May 2016 MSP Audio Geeks meetup - v1.0
Tuesday, May 24th
This month we are excited to present not one but two meetups! The first meetup will be on Tuesday, May 24th from 7-9pm at the A-Mill Artist Lofts in Minneapolis. Lance Conrad, head producer and owner of Humans Win!, a music production company and recording studio, will be our host. We will meet on the 7th floor club room where there is a rooftop patio, take a tour of the facility, and then head into a music rehearsal room where Lance will present an Ableton Live tutorial.
From the A-Mill Artist Lofts website:
"Designed for artists who are committed to a life in the arts, A-Mill Artist Lofts has a number of shared work and studio spaces for use by the residents free of charge." From music rehearsal and multimedia rooms to painting, dance, ceramics, photography, and flex studios, there is something for everyone.
A bit about Lance Conrad and Humans Win!:
Recent projects include songwriting and production with Liam Payne and Dan Richards (One Direction), Ashley DuBose (The Voice), Step Rockets and Chris Koza. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks and invite your friends for a fun night of audio geekery! If you are so inclined, please RSVP to mspaudiogeeks at gmail dot com.
