65% are Mothers
58% report challenges with emotional ad/or mental health
40% are in receipt of some kind of social assistance, often as a result of life changes from leaving an abusive relationship
29% are dealing with emotional abuse
22% report being socially isolated
21% are single mothers with children under 18
We have to fundraise approximately 25% of our lean operational budget every year in order to continue our work
