Oakland 3B Danny Valencia singled in a 6-0 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday, raising his average to .324. He also made his sixth error, tied for highest among American League third basemen.

Tigers 2B Ian Kinsler doubled and walked in a 9-3 loss to Baltimore. He also made his first error of the season, dropping from a first-place tie among American League second basemen for best fielding percentage.

Dodgers CF Joc Pederson walked once in a 5-3 win over the Cardinals. Here is an excellent catch he made on Friday.

The Cubs designated LF Ryan Kalish for assignment. Under MLB rules, the team has 10 days to either return him to its 40-man roster or place him on waivers, trade him, release him, or send him outright to the minors.

Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun was scratched from Saturday's lineup with a sore right wrist. According to MLB.com, he's reached base safely in 23 straight games, the third-longest streak of his career.

Blue Jays CF Kevin Pillar was scratched from Saturday's game due to chest soreness.

Houston reliever Scott Feldman did not play.
