Want to make a difference?

CRHE works hard every day to make homeschooling a safe, healthy, happy educational option for kids and their families. We raise awareness. We push for effective policy. We speak openly about difficult topics. We get our hands dirty. We are advocates.

Our 2016 Summer internships provide YOU a way to join us in shaping a new homeschool dialogue. Are you a homeschool alum? A college student? Are you looking to add to your resume? Or are you simply searching for a practical way to change the world for children? We want to hear from you!

All our internships are remote, so it doesn't matter where you live - if you have dependable wi-fi, you're in business. But hurry, the deadline for applications is Friday, May 20th. Check out our 6 different internship tracks below, and let's get to work -- APPLY TODAY!

Graphic Design

Our Graphic Design intern will have the opportunity to work with infographic software, create promotional material for Twitter rallies, cultivate a backlog of shareable visual content, and brainstorm new graphic content for CRHE's site and social media! This is a brand new internship for 2016, and we are excited for what it has in store.

Junior Research

Research is essential to CRHE's mission, especially making that research readily available. Our Junior Research intern will provide support to a variety of projects through copy writing, editing, fact-checking, data entry, and other tasks. There may be more than one Junior Research intern, so there's a chance for comraderie and experience working individually as well as part of a team!

Social Media

This Summer's Social Media intern will help get our message out by creating content, running Twitter rallies, researching new outreach methods, and cultivating our online community of supporters! This year we are also upping the ante on abuse/neglect awareness and prevention through our Homeschooling's Invisible Children Project.

Legislative Policy

Legislative policy is an essential component of CRHE's fight to protect at-risk children. Our Policy intern will play a big role helping us track legislation and conduct research on recent legislative activity. This summer we'll also be creating state-by-state briefs of homeschool-related legislation.

Senior Research

Homeschool research is full of grey areas and fuzzy lines, and our Senior Research interns have a chance to change that. This is our heftiest internship, with the opportunity to choose which research projects hold the most interest for our interns. They will create policy briefs and white papers, suggest improvements for current policy, and conduct small, informal research studies. We may be seeking more than one Senior Research intern.
