Summer Reading Program Preview

Our Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults will begin next month.

The children's theme is "On Your Mark, Get Set . . . Read!" All children from toddlers through fifth graders are invited to read or listen to someone read to them, earn prizes for reading or listening, and attend events at the library.

The Friends of the Library are selling t-shirts with our Summer Reading themes. See details and submit your order here by May 15. Orders received after this date will be filled in the order they are received. You'll be notified when the t-shirts arrive and will pay for them when you pick them up.

Did you know . . .

Thanks to the Friends of Milan Public Library, we now offer WiFi Mobile Hotspots for 3 or 7 day loans to Milan card holders over 18 years old. Great for travel, working away from school or home, or internet access anywhere you don't already have it. The rental fee (to cover the monthly access charges) is $5 for 3 days, $10 for 7 days and includes unlimited data. Each WiFi Mobile Hotspot supports internet access for up to 10 devices.

Children will participate in stories, finger plays, songs, dance, crafts, and other activities.

Activities are scheduled for the ages listed for each program. Older and younger siblings are welcome to attend with you.

Registration is requested, but drop-ins are welcome. You may register online here or at the circulation desk.

Tiny Tales - ages 2-3
Thursdays, May 26 - 10:30 A.M.
We'll finish our colors theme with the color orange.

Preschool Storytime - ages 3-5
Fridays, May 27, June 3, June 10 - 10:30 A.M.
We'll finish reading through the alphabet with X, Y, and Z.

Evening Storytime - ages 3-5
Thursday, June 2 - 7:00 P.M.
