Key insights from PATAmPOWER

Flights from Europe to Asia sub-regions in 2016

Direct scheduled flights from Europe to Northeast Asia are expected to increase 5.9 percent year-on-year in 2016, bolstered mainly by increased frequency of services to China. Flights from Europe to South Asia are also expected to grow by 3.9 percent. In comparison, flights from Europe to Southeast Asia are estimated to reduce by 4.2 percent, driven by a downturn in scheduled services to Indonesia and Malaysia in this calendar year.
