After a year on Wattpad, House of Goths is finally available to purchase from all major ebook sellers! I've really enjoyed the Wattpad experience. I love hearing from readers and Wattpad is a great platform for that.
*Note: The Wattpad version of House of Goths is slightly different from the final product. For one thing, there are 10+ Chapters yet unread. Now, I'm not one of those authors who enjoy leaving readers hanging. So, I chose to end the Wattpad version at a certain point where I believe readers would be happy. (And hopefully wanting more.) Because, yes, there is so much more!
House of Goths was supposed to be a standalone book but like with Hand in Glove, this story refuses to end. The secondary characters who were actually very much primary characters (Crispin especially) really came forward and spoke to readers. Crispin Clover definitely screams sequel, and wow, do I have an adventure in mind for him!
The thing is...
It is my hope that this book will sell well. Belonging (Crispin's Book) - HOG Book 2, will depend heavily on the outcome of House of Goths Book 1.
While I believe this book is one of my best yet, I have no control on how it will be received beyond Wattpad. I hope it sells well. I hope it does awesomely. I hope it brings me reviews. I really hope it gets the attention it deserves...
So, here's hoping!
© 2016 Excerpt:
“All I want is to rent the spare room,” Becky said after taking a soothing sip of coffee.
“All you want?” Crispin mocked, snapping his newspaper in half. “What about what I want? Which is you, gone from here! Doesn’t that count for anything?”
Synopsis: All Becky wants is a nice place to live…
Becky Sparks refuses to spend her college years in a cold, lonely dorm. Bassist Kelley Keele is a gorgeous Goth with a dark past. He resides at what he and his bandmates, Crispin, and Dorian, refer to as the House of Goths. Thrown together by fate, Becky forms an instant bond with Kell. Desperate for a home, she shows up unannounced on his front porch, suitcase in hand. Do they take her in or turn her away?
