MusicOntario hosted our first town hall meeting at CMW entitled "Opportunities Ontario" featuring Duncan McKie (FACTOR), Marina Adam (OMF), Erin Benjamin (Music Canada Live), Alka Sharma (Folk Music Ontario), Mike Tanner (City of Toronto) and many more representatives from Ontario's robust music industry. The Canadian Songwriter Challenge is open for submissions from Ontario-based songwriters. The event will take place in Toronto, ON, in July 2016, and is a great opportunity for emerging songwriters to co-write with their peers and mentors, while learning about the business of songwriting.
