May is a time for celebration. This weekend, more than 5,600 students will graduate. We send them off with mixed emotions. They've been part of our lives for four to five years, and we are happy for their accomplishments but sad to see them go.
Our work continues, though. We'll be here this summer, welcoming new students and their families and preparing for fall semester.
I'm looking forward to our Tiger Pantry Fundraiser and Family Fun Night event June 23. Keep an eye out for an email with more details.
Thanks for all you do for students.
Cathy Scroggs, PhD
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
