Monday's Office Hours went great! We had a big turnout of techs as we looked over three tech sheets provided by a few of the Brethren.
The tech sheets came from different appliances with specific problems, and we used the schematics to craft troubleshooting strategies. Pre-diagnosis like this is a key skill for all appliance techs out there!
The three tech sheets we went over were:
1. Bosch HMC80251UC Speed Cooker that keeps blowing the fuse in L2 only when the door is closed.
2. Maytag MBF2256HES Refrigerator that's cold in the freezer, warm in the FF compartment, with a frosted up evaporator coil.
3. GE JSP47BF4 range with glass cooktop, LF hot surface indicator light remains on after the element has cooled down (NOTE: I re-recorded this segment to clarify the circuit explanations and troubleshooting strategies).
