I’m excited to announce that TCS has created a sports league, and we’ll compete against four other local schools next year! Right now, our student-athletes will compete in cross country in the fall, basketball in the winter and soccer in the spring with plans to add more sports in the future. The other schools in our league are Midtown International School, Centennial Academy, Christ the King School and Intown Community School.
The plan is to have both boys and girls teams and to compete by grade level with a third/fourth grade team and a fifth/sixth grade team.
In order to plan for the appropriate number of coaches, uniforms, field reservations and more, we need a general head count. Please click here to pre-register by May 19 and let us know that you’re interested in participating in one or more sports. We’ll send out formal registration forms this summer to everyone who is interested.
We’ll hold a pep rally on May 17 at 11 a.m. and everyone who is pre-registered will be recognized on stage in front of the student body.
