One Sunday Service for Summer Begins Soon!
Sunday, May 22 • 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. @ Calvary
Our worship service will begin with a fellowship time just before 10:00 o'clock, when you can come and connect with other members of our church community. Invite your friends to come with you and be REFRESHED in our summer teaching series, as we look into the Psalms.
Single Life Workshop Info Session
Sunday, May 15 • 10:30 a.m. @ Calvary
The Single Life Workshop is coming to Calvary in August 2016! Come to an information session about this great course this Sunday in the youth room from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. This ten week course is designed for you to discover how to more authentically connect to yourself, God, and others in simple and practical ways. This course is for anyone who is single/dating/engaged and has a desire to understand what healthy relationships of all kinds look like and how this begins with our own spiritual health.
Next Teaching Topic at Calvary
Sunday, May 15 • 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. @ Calvary
Our teaching topic for this Sunday is
“Reframed: Living for the Peace and Prosperity of the Land.” The ReFrame series is intended to help all of us to express our faith in everyday life, to encounter Jesus afresh and allow His story to shape our own, at work and at home, between Sundays, and in all the places of our lives.
Church Work Bee
Saturday, May 21 • 9:00 am - 12:00 p.m. @ Calvary
We’ve decided to hold off a little bit on our work bee, to get our parking lot better prepared for the Community Garage Sale, and to get some more projects lined up that need doing. Please set aside a couple hours to help out. Thanks in advance!
Meet & Greet BBQ
Sunday, May 29 • 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. @ the Scott's Home
Would you like to get to know Ben & Krista Ewert and their family a bit better? Please join us for a meet & greet BBQ at Malcolm & Krista Scott’s home. Bring picnic blankets/lawn chairs. The Leadership Team will be serving up some tasty fixin’s! Please save this date on your calendars!
Support for Fort McMurray Church
Our sister church in Fort McMurray is one of two churches in the fire zone. With a larger congregation, it also runs a soup kitchen as a part of their community outreach. A fund has been set up for those wishing to assist in giving a helping hand to those devastated by the wildfire. Donations can be made
online.
