It was great to see many of you at the Neighbourhood House Victoria Conference recently.  There were some engaging sessions that I hope will be the spring board for further strategic conversations about the future of our sector.  I'm looking forward to the session on Friday 20 May to talk further about how we position Neighbourhood Houses for the future.

Neighbourhood House Week Celebrations

Jika Jika hosted a great event for NH week.  Congratulations to all those involved.  We were able to send a strong message to councillors about the importance of neighbourhood houses.  Watch a short video here.

The DATA has arrived!

Have you wondered why you spend hours doing the NHVic survey?  Have you thought does anyone every look at it? NHVic have released the results from the 2015 survey that you completed in February this year, available from NHVic. David Perry gave an excellent presentation at the conference.  I have just received the NENHN data for our 32 houses.   Bridget Gardiner from NHVic used the Darebin data to deliver a targeted message at the Darebin event last week.  View her powerpoint here.
