Special Ed Choir's "Spring Gala"
What a special night of song and talent at the Special Ed Choir's Spring GalaAIM is so proud of our singing participants and community friends like Extend-A-Family, K-W Habilitation, Bridges to Belonging, Community Living and many high school friends.  The beautiful performance included many hits, old time classics and of course some Disney favorites. The performance was spectacular! What a great group of individuals! You are all AIMazing!
Spring Fling Dance SUCCESS!
Our AIM Adults In Motion family wishes to thank everyone for coming to our first SPRING FLING DANCE! A special thank you goes out to Chief Larkin and the Waterloo Regional Police for being our very special guests and representing our region's finest with class and compassion! We were also lucky to have so many friends of AIM dance with us including Community Living Guelph Wellington, Parents for Community Living, Extend-A-Family, Sunrise Riding Centre and  Bridges to Belonging. It was such a wonderful celebration of AIMazing people coming together to create new connections and of course the dancing was absolutely fantastic! There's already buzz for another one this fall so stay tuned...!

DO YOU HAVE A PAL CARD?
What is a PAL Card? For some people with disabilities, it is necessary to have someone’s help in order to participate in recreation and leisure activities. A PAL (Personal Attendant for Leisure) Card allows persons with a disability to be accompanied by a personal attendant so that they may participate in designated City of Kitchener and City of Waterloo programs.  The PAL car authorizes that the accompanying personal attendant will not be charged an additional fee.  To get your free PAL card today CLICK HERE.

"I'm AIMazing!"

AIM Adults in Motion would like to highlight our very special volunteer, Lynne. Lynne is one of AIM's most dedicated volunteers. Lynne visits AIM regularly, sharing her AIMazing musical talents with us. Our participants love when Lynne comes with her guitar to sing their favourite songs with her. Lynne is so wonderful with all of AIM's participants and is always willing to lend a helping hand with many tasks, daily activities and special events! We don't know
what we'd do without her!

THEMUSEUM

They don't call us Adults In Motion for nothing!  We are so often on the move finding new places to visit, people to meet and new experiences to conquer but we just can't seem to get enough of THEMUSEUM in Downtown Kitchener! There is so much to do and so much to learn that each visit is always different.  In the words of Forest Gump ... "you never know what you're gonna get!".  We agree Forest which is why we go back for more.  This month we especially enjoyed the Terry Fox Exhibit!  Thank you to THEMUSEUM's friendly staff and their inclusive facilities, we are always so very impressed!
