Drum roll, please, as we proudly present:

Isn't it beautiful? You can thank Jennifer Carrow Design—we sure do!

Please stay tuned for more news about the book (including pre-order info). We're already counting down to the official publication date: March 14, 2017.

Have We Got a Deal for You!

Speaking of summer reading, as we were above: Until June 30, you can purchase a copy of Meyer Levin's classic Compulsion—with new introductory material by Marcia Clark and Gabriel Levin—for a mere $1.99.

That's thanks to a Kindle Deal, and we hope that all of you who enjoy reading e-books (but have not yet read Compulsion) will take advantage of it.

Just in case you need a little bit more convincing—click right over to the book's webpage on our site, replete with an overview, an excerpt, suggested book-club discussion questions, and much more.

Kvell Korner

The kvelling continues here at Fig Tree Books! Ben Nadler's The Sea Beach Line was recently awarded bronze-medal status in the INDIEFAB awards (literary-fiction category).

The awards were announced on June 25 at the annual conference of the American Library Association. Administered by Foreword Reviews and judged by librarians and booksellers, these awards honor "the best books from independent publishers." We're gratified by the attention that Ben's book has received from Foreword Reviews from the start; we also appreciate their support of FTB more broadly.

Please join us in congratulating Ben Nadler!
Don't Forget About Our Blog!

Miss us between newsletters? In addition to our frequent posts on social media, we maintain a blog, where we share news, updates, and other information on a weekly basis. Be sure to check out our new series featuring past winners of the Edward Lewis Wallant Award, a prize named in memory of the author of The Pawnbroker. The blog is also where we share new online discoveries relating to American Jewish Experience (AJE), broadly defined.

Please come visit—FigTreeBooks.net/blog—and comment! We'll look forward to seeing you there soon.
