Roasted Beets, Two Ways
Roasted veggies are easy to prepare, and their time in the oven concentrates their flavors and brings out their natural sweetness. Beets are especially yummy when prepared this way. Here are two simple recipes to get the most out of your spring beets, as well as link to a recipe to use the green tops.
Pulled Pork
Make this recipe once, and have pulled pork in the fridge for quick meals throughout the week. Use the prepared meat in tacos, over polenta, in ramen, or perhaps a frittata.  The possibilities are endless!
In Search of Recipe Blogger
If you've been looking for an opportunity to work within the local food community, now is your chance! Main St Farmers Market is looking to fill a position for a recipe blogger for our website. We'll be accepting applications until the end of May.
We also have lots of other volunteer opportunities available!
